Hash Rotten Hippo is North East Hip Hop!

Hash Rotten Hippo aims to be a hub for the oft overlooked North East Hip Hop scene.
Although often mixed with a heavy dose of grime music the North East scene is full of dope Hip Hop with Leddie leading the way (with BBC radio play and supporting the likes of US rapper The Game), young upstart Endem (proclaiming himself 'King Of The North'), and of course site contributor (and ex pat from the West Midlands) Cuban Pete making his mark.
As well as organizing live events Hash Rotten Hippo produce a mixtape series of local talent, volume 2.5 of which is out now.
