One of Hip Hop's biggest moguls is in the bidding to become the first African-American majority owner of a team in the NFL.
This could be a major move for our culture as the current Panthers owner Jerry Richardson is set to sell the team after the 2018 season is completed.

Jerry Richardson who is being investigated for misconduct in the workplace is on his way out and P.Diddy may be the next one in. He posted a video on instagram showing his interest in buying the team and 2 time NBA MVP Steph Curry who is a native of North Carolina and a huge Panthers fan replied on twitter simply with "I want in". Which makes the move all the more likely with investors ready to jump into this business venture.
Diddy stated that he would immediately address the Colin Kaepernick situation by signing and starting him as soon as possible, even more than that he mentioned that the halftime show's he can put on will be unlike anything the league has ever seen before.
This may be a the next most lucrative business venture in the Hip-Hop culture since Dre penned his deal with Apple for the Beats by Dre Headphones.
I can only imagine how fast tickets will sell for the games and how amazing the halftime shows could be there is much room for potential here. Which is all the more reason the league may allow such a move. Diddy is worth a estimated 820 Million. which means that funding wont be a issue for the club and they can focus more on making money.

I personally hope that this deal will go through. Its in my personal opinion a much needed change and a new, vibrant energy that should be brought to the NFL.
